Neptune Mk2 site update - April 28th 2011

Updated: http://www.compileheart.com/neptune_mk2/

Special section: New wallpapers for each Sister and their accompanying forms, they also added the human form Sister's twitter pack. I'll toss them in individual rar files in a bit and organize them by resolution for ease of convenience, and backup purposes.

Spec section update: Two new tabs have been added, one detailing the figures, which turn out to be Nendoroid Petits(pictured above), and another talking about the "special privilege" items which could be either a phone card, A4 poster printout, or a visual book that you can get through ordering from AmiAmi or other Japanese retailers.

Song Section: Updated showing a picture of nao, confirming what we already knew, that she was doing the opening for this game as well. Plus she is pretty cute~ ^^

Anyway, thats all for now I guess... still no trailer, no new screens, and nothing that we didn't already know. As a consolation here are some scans I failed to post in the last article along with an extra.

Yes people, the chick at the bottom is Magiquone, now known as Magic the Hard; Magic Heart would be accurate. Magiquone has found a way to take Neptune's power from her and used it to decimate the other three CPUs, who she then used their processor power of, to create three mecha Guardains. In this image she is pictured with her three Guardians:

Magic the Heart/Magiquone (Bottom)
Brave the Heart (Left)
Judge the Heart (Up)
Trick the Heart (Left)

Together they are Magiquone's 4 elite, a play-on of the "Elite 4" in the Pokemon series of games no doubt. The guardians all have male CVs, but are otherwise genderless, Keiji Inafune was in charge of their designs, yes, even Magiquone/Arfoire's HDD form.

What does this mean for the four CPUs? No one is quite sure, but we know one thing, they are in need of saving and their imoutos are coming to save the day!

Sorry this scan is so small, I just thought you all might be interested in it.

No clue where this came from, but I just want to point out Nepgear's slender legs, the fact she is more than likely going "nopan"; not wearing panties/pantsu, and the adorable Neptune keychain on her tote.

That's all I have got for now, Chou Jigen Game Neptune Mk2 is set for release August 18th of this year.

Why wait for Tales news next week, when Nintendo Power can spoil it?

Yes, this is a Nintendo Power article; not scanned by me as my sub ended last month, and yes this does mean Tales of the Abyss 3D is making it stateside.
3.... 2.... 1....
HOLY SHIT YES, ALL REGRETS ABOUT GETTING MY 3DS ARE GONE!

Namco teased us this week saying to expect some exciting news next week, well it looks like Nintendo Power jumped the gun, and someone got a hold of the announcement before Namco could formally say a damned word.
Seeing how I am too freaking hyped to post like a professional here's another two scans:

This bottom scan has a great interview with the series producer, and he sheds some light upon the recent revival of Tales outside of Japan and how long it's taken them to achieve this. Here's and excerpt:

Nintendo Power
We're overjoyed to see the Tales series returning to the west with Tales of the Abyss for N3DS and Tales of graces F. How has your approache to the localization of the series changed over the last few years?

Makoto Yoshizumi
Japanese RPGs have a huge amount of text that requires a lot of time to localize. and not just time, of course, but money as well. We've tried taking steps on our end to help alleviate this problem, and we're starting to see results. Hopefully, we can now look forward to seeing more games in the "Tales of" series being enjoyed by a worldwide audience.
At the end of the interview Nintendo Power asks if we can expect to see mroe info on Tales of Graces F soon, as well as the platform, and he said we should be getting info soon. Hell yes, more Tales, is ALWAYS A GOOD THING.

My Nintendo 3DS mini-review

I got my 3DS today and thus far I love it, and I haven't gotten a headache from it despite having the 3D on max. I also wear contacts so I would think it would bug me quite a bit, but it doesn't, I guess I am just fortunate not to get eyestrain from 3D.

Anyway, after having it for 7 hours I have to say, it's pretty and I do not regret buying it one bit, too bad it did poorly in sales... but I am sure it will pick up once Ninty starts handing out the GOOD games for it.

For your convenience I have compiled a lsit of Pros and Cons to the system, all of which will likely be fixed in the next iteration of the 3DS; I don't care if Ninty said there won't be one... it's a tradition and they can't break it now, anyway onto the list:

Neptune Mk2 Release date, LE Contents, and Inafune's involvement revaled!

Yes that is a giant Inafune head doing a shoop da whoop, and yes that is a sword shaped like Inafune... GOD HELP US ALL. Inafune's head is part of a special mvoe that Nepgear seems to have, which I have listed blow a long with the swords name:

Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten Premium Edition Revealed

OMG OMG OMG, I LOVE CAT---errr, s'cuse the obscure Neptunia reference.

Anyway, down to business, today NIS America revealed this image of the Disgaea 4 A promise Unforgotten Premium edition, ad whaddya know? It includes the same Fuuka Nendoroid that was included in the Japanese copy!

To my delight the NISA store pre-orders will recieve the OST as a bonus, it also comes with an artbook and some concept art too boot, so that makes up for it I suppose. And there will also be a SUPER LIMITED EDITION that includes everything from the Limited Edition + Nine Figures.

And for those wondering: "How on earth could they be including a Japanese Nendoroid?"

I would like you to turn your attention to this pretty lil' link: http://goodsmile.ecq.sc/

Goodsmile Company; the creators of the Nendoroid brand, have opened their English store and are now accepting overseas orders. Sure there is only one product thus far, but the possibility of future nendos being more available to the English speaking fans is very pleasing to say the least.

Disgaea 4: A Promise Unforgotten is set for release by NIS America within the month of September.

"A not so merry nightmare..." | Mizu's Yumekui Merry Review

I am disappointed, better yet, extremely displease and yearning for more, why is that? Oh, well I am glad you asked! I just finished Yumekui Merry (Dreameater Merry), and up until the final episode I loved it... remember, I am using past tense here. I am almost positive people loved this show despite this fact; myself being one of those, and I love Merry for it''s original story, character, theme, plot, ideas, and premise, I mean I don't think I have seen such an original concept in a long long time, but... it feels incomplete, very incomplete, no... totally RUSHED is what I am going for.

This is my first review, so please bare with me... I have a lot to say, and feel this wasn't the best anime to tackle as my first review... but that's the challenging part, so whatever! Just... bare with me please~<3
